Calendar: Art and wine at Circa … Baton Rouge gets ‘Uncorked’

Taste the experience: Circa 1857 hosts Art & Wine: The Wine Tasting Experience this Friday from 6-9 p.m. within the Circa complex at 1857 Government Street. Purchase a tasting glass for $20 and sample unlimited wines and fabulous foods while you browse the beautiful art and gifts on display. Circa will donate 25% of proceeds to Hospice of Baton Rouge. ‘Uncork’ some fun: Baton Rouge Uncorked hosts its first spring tasting of the year May 10. Uncorked is a fun way to try new vintages and mix and mingle with new people. Attendees form teams of up to three members, bringing three identical bottles of wine for tasting and scoring. A registration fee of $20 per participant goes toward the charity sponsored by the event. Bring the best wine, and you win the extra “third” bottle from each team.
