It’s a ‘Lockout’

Only French director Luc Besson could turn out a high concept and pulpy popcorn flick like Lockout, in theaters Friday, and not expect jeers from the audience. When star Guy Pearce is wrongly labeled a spy against the U.S., he is given one final chance to clear his name. Ordered to rescue the president’s daughter—played by Maggie Grace—who is trapped in an outer space prison that has been taken over by the inmates, Pearce becomes an unlikely hero on a quest to win his freedom and save the life of a woman he doesn’t even know. Rated PG-13.
