All-‘American’

After 13 years, two sequels and a string of embarrassing direct-to-DVD spin-offs, Universal Pictures is banking on there being enough gas in the tank for one more lap around with the American Pie gang in the new comedy American Reunion. Set 10 years after the original, American Reunion finds Jim—now married to former band nerd Michelle and raising a young child—and Stifler—still has raunchy as ever—along with the rest of their friends convening for a high school reunion for a weekend of debauchery and maybe even second chances. Except for Shannon Elizabeth, the entire original cast is back, including Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy and Jennifer Coolidge as “Stifler’s mom.” Rated R.
