A ‘Rural Life’ Easter

The Friends of the LSU Rural Life Museum will host the third annual An Old Fashioned Easter Celebration this Sunday. Children will experience springtime excitement and the welcome of the Easter season with fun old-fashioned activities. Check out Easter egg hunts for children ages 2-5 and 6-9, a prize for the best Easter bonnet or hat, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Share the Louisiana traditions of egg dyeing, spoon races, egg paquing, and storytelling on the gorgeous historic grounds of the museum. Festivities begin at 1:00 p.m. General admission is $5 per person. rurallife.lsu.edu
