Stomp in the swamp

This weekend, Nicholls University in Thibodaux plays host to the fourth annual Swamp Stomp Music Festival, spotlighting local and regional musicians, a variety of south Louisiana foods, offering several presentations on the history, culture, and economic development of the region; and showcases artisans demonstrating their crafts and selling handmade items. Tickets are $10 per day or only $25 for the entire weekend to catch acts like Waylon Thibodeaux, Feufollet and the Lost Bayou Ramblers. Children under 11 admitted free. Tickets on sale at the gate.
