‘Project’ Party

What happens when your planned house party blows up—literally—is the question at the center of Project X, a new teen drama in theaters this Friday. Based loosely on the true story of Corey Delaney, an Australian teen who posted the address of his house party on MySpace attracting 500 visitors and $20,000 in property damage, the film tells the story of three high school students who just want a little fun while their parents are away. Things get out of hand fast as what begins as a small gathering quickly spirals out of their control. Kirby Bliss Blanton, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Oliver Cooper and Thomas Mann star. Rated R.
