Foodie fave Zimmern in town next week
MSN’s Appetite for Life with Andrew Zimmern will be in downtown Baton Rouge on Wednesday, Jan. 25, to film show segments in front of a live audience. A food truck “Wround-Up” will be held in conjunction with the event, with each truck preparing a dish that is unique to their concept but rooted in Cajun flavors. The food trucks will donate 10% of gross sales to the Capital Area United Way, which is partnering with the show! The public will be able to purchase jambalaya samples to benefit the Capital Area United Way at the event. You can keep up-to-date with the latest by following the Visit Baton Rouge Twitter feed here, and learn more about Appetite for Life at the show’s website here.
