Speak of the ‘Devil’

Not unlike last year’s surprise, Louisiana-filmed minor hit The Last Exorcism, this Friday’s The Devil Inside takes the lo-fi indie approach to spiritual-tinged horror. When Isabella, a woman searching for answers in the wake of her mother’s mysterious disappearance, arrives in Italy, she becomes complicit in a string of exorcisms held far off the Vatican’s grid of approval. Her mother allegedly killed three people during her own exorcism, but Isabella is committed to discovering the truth no matter what dangers may lurk around the corner.
