Amahl and the Night Visitors

Thursday night, Opera Louisiane will present a one-night-only performance of the Christmas opera Amahl and the Night Visitors. A young shepherd boy meets three mysterious and kingly visitors on their way to herald the birth of a special child, but things take a dramatic turn when some of the gold for the child goes missing. 7:30 p.m. at the Old State Capitol.
