LASM throws annual Gala

Support Baton Rouge’s most storied museum this Friday at the annual LASM gala, “A Fete for All Seasons.” Within the breathtaking “four seasons” transformation of the museum, Gala guests will be the first to see the elegant exhibition of contemporary artworks Forces of Nature: Selections from the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation. While Ned Fasullo and his swinging band play, some of the city’s best restaurants and caterers will be serving forth plenty of gourmet food and drink. Gala-goers will also enjoy the usual spirited bidding on silent auction items and a raffle for a $7,500 Ebel watch from Lee Michaels. 7:30-10:30 p.m. More information and tickets can be found at lasm.org.
