‘Three’s company
Alexandre Dumas’ legendary tale of swashbuckling adventure and political intrigue gets a 3D update in the hands of Death Race director Paul W.S. Anderson in this Fridays’ The Three Musketeers. This familiar story follows young and headstrong D’Artagnan as he seeks adventure with the help of three once-revered, but now rusty, disillusioned musketeers—Athos, Porthos and Aramis—in an attempt to foil a seductive foe who plans to seize the French throne and cast Europe into war. Orlando Bloom stars as the Duke of Buckingham and Milla Jovovich operates as his deadly double agent, while Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman brandishes the sword of D’Artagnan. Luke Evans, Matthew Macfayden, Ray Stevenson and Christoph Waltz co-star. Rated PG-13. (Image courtesy New Legacy)
