“My son goes to school out of town, so when he comes home on a break, we have a bonding day and go to Fleur de Lis, because he loves it there. We have our pizza and our little glass-bottled cokes and have a great time. But when I’m on a date night with my husband, we’ll stick closer to home. Usually we go either to Sammy’s Grill, for their excellent po-boys and gumbo, or Cinco de Mayo in Zachary and sip some big margaritas. It’s the best way to unwind after a long week.”
