Tonight, the Arts Council of Baton Rouge and the River City Jazz Coalition have teamed up again to bring back the acclaimed River City Jazz Masters series, kicking it off with eight-time Grammy Award winner McCoy Tyner and his quintet. With dozens of albums and gold records to his name, this Philly-born jazz piano legend has shared the stage with John Coltrane, Art Farmer and Elvin Jones.
