Du Jour: Jimmy Ward, Camelot Club

Jimmy Ward is a familiar face in the business world of Baton Rouge fine dining, having served as wine manager at Juban’s and Sullivan’s Steak House. Ward, 34, became the general manager of the Camelot Club last April and since then has helped make the downtown private dining establishment more appealing to young professionals. The 15,000-square-foot space on the 21st floor of Chase Tower South arguably has the best views in Baton Rouge. Today, at its southeast corner sits the Tower Bar, a contemporary, industrial space providing an expansive vista of LSU, the Mississippi River bridge, the east side of downtown and beyond.
