LSU Union gets ‘Emancipated’

The LSU Student Union announces The Emancipated Figure: Contemporary Reflections, their new fall exhibit. Showcasing 16 Louisiana artists and their varied interpretations of the human figure, the show will feature pieces ranging from traditional portraiture to satirical caricature in the mediums of painting, sculpture, and mixed media artwork. Friday night marks the opening reception from 6-8 p.m., and the show will run through Oct. 16. Free and open to the public. For more information visit lsu.edu/union.
