On the Road: Dallas Block Party

Heading to Texas for the LSU vs. Oregon game this weekend? Then you won’t want to miss the Dallas Block Party being put on for LSU fans! A formerly empty field on McKinney Avenue will transform into a daylong pregame festival on Friday, featuring two stages with a variety of music, from DJs spinning dance tunes to local pop-rockers and rappers. Plus, local Dallas food trucks and bars will open their doors and their windows to hungry and thirsty party-goers. 2 p.m.-10 a.m. Tickets are $40 at dallasblockparty.com.
