Want to add fresh herbs and vegetables to your home-cooked meals? Then head out to the Botanic Garden on Independence Boulevard this Saturday for the annual Summer Plant Sale. You’ll be able to pick up regional culinary herbs and veggies perfect for transplanting to your backyard—along with non-edibles like lilies, irises and begonias. All proceeds will benefit the Botanic Garden’s yearly maintenance. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
