See ‘Jane’ run

Charlotte Bronte’s classically Gothic coming of age drama Jane Eyre finally received the untamed adaptation it deserved earlier this year, and now the film has arrived on DVD and Blu-ray. Alice in Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska plays Jane, a tortured orphan-turned-governess who falls madly in love her employer, the brooding and mysterious Mr. Rochester played by Michael Fassbender. Rochester returns Jane’s romantic feelings, but an illicit marriage and an even more bizarre secret that haunts Rochester’s Thornfield Hall could forever ruin Jane’s chances at happiness. Jamie Bell, Dame Judy Dench and Sally Hawkins co-star. Rated PG-13.
