Mix it up for fashion

This Thursday night, head downtown for Forum 35’s first annual Mixture cultural event at the Lyceum Dean. DJ Otto will provide the night’s tunes as you enjoy wild dance performances, a live painting demonstration by local artist Jade Brady, and a fashion show featuring styles from Noelie Harmon, Loft 3H and Amies Boutique. All proceeds from the event will benefit Dress for Success Baton Rouge, which provides professional attire, a support network and career development tools for disadvantaged and low-income women around the Capital City. Tickets are $10 at the door, $20 for VIP runway seating—but admission is free with the donation of a suit for Dress for Success. 7-10 p.m. Find out more by clicking here.
