Best of 225 Awards
They’re back: the Best of 225 Awards, 2011 edition. These are our readers’ favorite people, places, dishes and destinations—all of which amount to why we love living in Baton Rouge.
We began in January, when we invited readers to nominate their favorites in more than 50 categories. We counted them up, identified the finalists and turned over the data to Survey Communications Inc., our market research firm.
SCI crafted the final survey and administered it March 11 to March 15. Drawing from a pool of tens of thousands of readers and online subscribers, SCI randomly invited some to complete the survey. This year, a record 3,300 people did so.
