Cincinnati natives and intense indie rockers The Heartless Bastards will hit the Spanish Moon this Saturday night. Beloved of Rolling Stone and The Village Voice, these garage-rock blues artists are bringing their distinctive lo-fi sound to Baton Rouge. Folksy and slyly psychedelic, fans of the Decemberists and similar reedy, country-infused rock ‘n’ roll will find much to love in lead singer and guitarist Erika Wennerstrom’s performance.
