Inner ‘Sanctum’

Space exploration may make headlines more often, but there are plenty of uncharted realms on Earth in the form of murky systems of underwater caves. In the 3D adventure Sanctum, in stores now, a group of cave divers in the South Pacific is forced into a highly treacherous section of the caves by a tropical storm. Trapped with rising waters and with no decipherable way out, the group must find an escape path to the surface before its too late. Produced by Avatar director James Cameron, the film features stunning imagery captured at the Cave of the Swallows near San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and stars cast of largely unknown actors, including Alice Parkinson, Richard Roxburgh and Rhys Wakefield.
