Rodeo at the River Center

Ride ‘em, cowboy—the Capitol City Black Rodeo happens this weekend at the Baton Rouge River Center. With roping, bullriding, trick riding, musical performances and more than 300 cowboys competing, you’ll see why this event has earned its name as “The Baddest Show on Dirt.” And you can get the party started early at the tailgate party, kicking off at 5 p.m. outside of the River Center. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16-$20 and available at brrivercenter.com.
