‘Crowns’ at Manship
Manship Theatre presents the triumphant gospel musical Crowns, which tells the story of a young black woman named Yolanda who moves south after her brother is killed in New York. Through the medium of her grandmother’s hats, Yolanda learns to fit into the genteel but unfamiliar Southern culture that surrounds her, and gains self-confidence and insight. Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are $20. Visit manshiptheatre.org for more information.
