Scuttlebutt: Foodchannel.com releases Gulf documentary

Next month, thefoodchannel.com will release a web series that explores the future of Gulf seafood following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, which occurred a year ago Wednesday. In a series entitled “Beneath the Surface: Gulf Seafood’s Fight for Survival,” New Orleans chefs will speak about hardships suffered by restaurateurs and other participants in the local economy. The series will also explore assessments of whether the seafood coming out of Louisiana waters is safe. Check out the teaser by clicking here.
