Get your rear in gear

Baton Rouge hosts its first-ever 5K to raise awareness and funding for colon cancer research—the second leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. This event, irreverently named “Get Your Rear in Gear,” is sponsored by Our Lady of the Lake, Woman’s Hospital and the Baton Rouge General among others, and offers all participants a chance to get fit and call attention to an important cause.
