Cruisin’ and bruisin’ Derby

Skates, skirts and scars rule as the Red Stick Roller Derby presents a double-header bout this Saturday at the River Center. First up, the rookie Capital Defenders will take on Jackson’s Magnolia Roller Vixens in a knock-down, drag-out bout. Then Baton Rouge’s all-stars, the Diablo Rouges, will battle the Beach Brawl Sk8er Dolls. These lovely ladies will teach you a whole new meaning of “Hell on Wheels” as they fight it out on the track with their fellow rollergirls. General admission tickets are $12, VIP tickets are $17, and kids under 12 get in free when accompanied by a general admission ticket holder.
