Calendar: Stroubes’ Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra dinner … Tips for the Cure at DeAngelo’s … IHOP honors National Pancake Day
Orchestrate a great night out: March 3, the Symphony League invites you to a culinary “Ode to Joy” at Stroubes Chophouse to celebrate the close of the 2010-11 season. For $45 per person, you can dine on a three-course prix fixe menu that includes shrimp and spinach crepes, filet béarnaise and bread pudding. Proceeds will benefit the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. E-mail [email protected] to make your reservations. Tipped off: Saturday is a great night to eat out at DeAngelo’s, as all five locations will be hosting their annual Tips for a Cure event. DeAngelo’s servers have volunteered, and 100% of tips collected this Saturday will be donated towards the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer foundation. So eat well, and tip generously! Click here for more information. Stack it up: In celebration of National Pancake Day on March 1, IHOP restaurants will offer guests a free short stack of pancakes in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Baton Rouge’s Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital belongs to this network, so pick up a stack and leave something for OLOL. Find out more and donate online by clicking here.
