LSU MOA goes ‘Beyond Black’

Just in time for Black History Month in February, the LSU Museum of Art will present an exhibition on the impressive careers of Ed Clark, Eugene Martin and John T. Scott, three modern African-American artists who rose to the challenge of creating beautiful abstract art. Though all three artists were overlooked in their time, their perseverance and their varied output made a vibrant mark on American painting. The show opens Sunday, January 30th. lsumoa.com
