Set in ‘Stone’

Edward Norton and Robert De Niro re-teamed for one of the more underrated dramas of 2010, the prison saga Stone, new in stores this week. Norton plays a convicted arsonist trying to talk his way into an early release as De Niro’s parole officer rebuffs the requests with little sympathy. Written by critically acclaimed Junebug scribe Angus MacLachlan, the film follows Norton’s scheme to change De Niro’s mind by sending his wife, played by Milla Jovovich, to seduce the lawman and gain leverage over him as his final weeks on the job fast approach. Rated R.
