Brought to life by Nicolas Cage as master magic maker Balthazar and Jay Baruchel as his unwitting recruit, Dave, this kid-friendly action film centers on a mystical battle for Manhattan, and is available now on DVD and Blu-ray. In his attempts to defend the city from the evil warmonger Horvath, Balthazar convinces Dave, a geeky college student who may hold more potential than he ever realized, to take a crash course in wizardry and aid him in his quest to defeat the powerful Horvath. While trying to survive Horvath’s wrath, Dave also struggles with his own identity and tries (like any respectable hero) to get the girl. Monica Belluci, Alfred Molina and Teresa Palmer co-star.
