Walk for Lou Gehrig’s
This Saturday, stretch your legs in the cool fall air and help to support a great cause—finding a cure for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Last year’s Baton Rouge walk drew 1,200 participants, collectively raising over $215,000 to support patient services and cutting-edge resource. This year, the goal is $290,000. With a kickoff speech by LSU Baseball Coach Paul Mainieri, who wouldn’t be motivated? Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the LSU Veterinary School, and the walk starts at 10 a.m. walktodefeatals.org
