Making a ‘Ruckus’

Michiganders Frontier Ruckus hit the Manship Theatre stage this Thursday for a night of their haunting, lyrically intense folk music. With rave reviews from Rolling Stone, this Detroit-based quartet is already receiving major media attention for s sweetly stirring sound and layered arrangements. Musical saws and melodicas complement lead singer Matt Milla’s warbling, emotional vocals, which hit the ear like a winter wind shaking the icicles from a barren tree.
