Round-up: B.R., Folse, VooDoo BBQ all make tourism destination list

Best of the best: Chef John Folse and Baton Rouge-based VooDoo BBQ & Grill topped their categories in a AAA Southern Traveler magazine list of favorite destinations. Folse was named best local chef by the 1,300 readers who participated in the poll, while VooDoo BBQ was named favorite barbecue restaurant. Ruth’s Chris was named favorite steakhouse. Baton Rouge finished behind New Orleans as best large city in the South for a weekend getaway. Lafayette was named as the best small city for a weekend getaway.
