XX and JJ at the Spanish Moon

Monday night, Britain’s hottest—or perhaps only—minimalist noir R&B band, The XX, make their Baton Rouge debut at the Spanish Moon. With dual lead vocalists Romy Madley-Croft and Oliver Sim, and the backing sounds of Baria Quereshi and Jamie Smith, these 19-year-old childhood friends share a love of music that’s been stripped down to the bare essentials.
