Hayden sculptures at LASM
The Louisiana Art and Science Museum presents a special exhibition from their collection of the sculptural work of Frank Hayden, running through Feb. 21. You probably know Hayden best for his sculptural work in Galvez plaza and the riverfront—he’s the designer of most of those fountains and sculptures—but he also created works on a smaller scale. His art, made of wood, plaster, fiberglass and stone, represent abstract concepts of fellowship, family and human rights. One of Louisiana’s preeminent sculptors, don’t miss this presentation of his gorgeous work. Visit lasm.org for more information.
