Weekend of art at LSU MOA

This Sunday, the LSU Museum of Art opens its newest exhibition, Of People and Places: Contemporary Works from the JPMorgan Chase Collection. Featuring art from 1963 to the present, the exhibit features 42 paintings, pastels and sculptures created by established and emerging artists. Also, on Saturday, don’t miss the free Second Saturdays family day, “Detail Detectives.” Kids and adults will conduct a scavenger hunt, looking for clues as to how the artist created their works. Take-and-make bags will be available for kids to create their own fun artwork at home. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
