On the Road: Walker museum opens

The town of Walker hosts the grand opening of its new art and history museum on Saturday at 2 p.m., with a ribbon cutting, hors d’oeuvres and music by Southern Oasis. The new museum, located temporarily in a historic home, will house a vast collection of artifacts from Walker’s history, as well as a community art gallery. 29350 Walker South Rd. Free to the public.
