A Bacchanalian bash: Juban’s Restaurant will host a journey through the visual arts with founder and proprietor of Clos Pegase Winery, Jan Shrem. An opening reception with wine and canapés kicks off the evening at 6 p.m., with Shrem’s artistic program and a five-course dinner (including crusted loin of lamb with fig chutney and Juban’s famous smoked duck & andouille gumbo) following at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $110 per person. Entertainment will be provided by the Michael Foster Project. Tickets are $125 per person. Reach for the stars: The LASM holds their 24th annual “Swing Upon a Star” Gala to support museum programs. A silent auction and diamond raffle will be accompanied by a four-star buffet provided by everyone from Capital City Grill to Tsunami Sushi. Tickets are $100 for members, $150 for non-members.
