FEMA Renaissance

The film Renaissance Village will premiere Thursday at the Baker municipal building in downtown Baker on August 27 at 7 p.m. The award-winning independent film follows five people trying to reclaim their lives after three years of residing in a FEMA trailer park. It was filmed on location in Baker and is narrated by Wendell Pierce. Director Gabe Chasnoff will be in attendance to speak about the film and answer audience questions. Admission is free.
