A ticket to ‘The Promised Land’

Back by popular demand, an encore screening of the award-winning film The Promised Land will hit the Manship Theatre’s silver screen Friday. Fresh off of a successful tour of the European and Australian continents, C.C. Adcock and Lil Band O’ Gold bring the film and the act back to the basin. Grab a seat and watch the film—a documentary about the swamp-pop phenoms and their struggles, personal and professional—then stay for the killer after-show performance by the band themselves.  Tickets are $35.
