Meet the Ancestors this Friday

Written and directed by Ghostbuster Harold Ramis, Year One looks like Mel Brooks’ History of the World: Part I and Monty Python’s The Life of Brian rolled into one for the Superbad crowd. Jack Black and Michael Cera star as an old world Dumb and Dumber, two boneheaded hunter/gatherers kicked out of the pack and stumbling through a series of not-quite Biblical adventures. Hank Azaria, David Cross and Olivia Wilde co-star with McLovin himself, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, turning up to reunite with his Superbad cohort Cera. Rated PG-13.
