Shaw to host Tuesdays on the Terrace

Now here’s a great way to skip traffic: Starting in October, the Shaw Center presents Tuesdays on the Terrace, an after-work networking opportunity for downtown professionals. Head up to the beautiful fourth-floor terrace, one of the best views in the city, and enjoy live original music and the company of colleagues. Member restaurants—Tsunami, Capital City Grill and Stroube’s—will deliver appetizer specials to those who place an order. “It’s pretty exciting,” says David Briggs, executive director of the Shaw Center. “We’re trying to keep some of these people downtown long enough for the interstates to clear, listen to good music and socialize.” Tuesdays on the Terrace will launch every Tuesday in October, and if successful, will continue in the springtime or yearround. “I’ve got to make sure it doesn’t put a drain on the economy here,” Briggs says.”
