SurrealEstate stays within the lines

CultureCandy’s SurrealEstate program presents a new installation, Within the Hemline, an interactive, fiber-based work by LSU art students Tyler Mackie and Lindsey Maestri. United with experimental music by LSU music student Eric Schuster, this exhibit uses pattern, texture, light and sound to create a feeling of domesticity, comfort and curiosity. Catch the opening reception Friday evening at 8 p.m. until midnight inside Classroom #4 on the second floor of the Shaw Center. $5.
