Scuttlebutt: Dempsey’s to open in Vic’s Chophouse

Dempsey’s Po-Boys and Gumbo plans to open in the former Vic’s Chophouse location on Jefferson Highway. Owners George and Tonya Gugich have been looking for a second location for years, and this spot was the best option by far. “We didn’t hesitate,” George said. Their goal for an opening date is July 1.
