Expect anything from Outhouse

Like the LSU School of Art’s Glassell Film Festival, the Cinema Club at LSU’s Outhouse Film & Video Festival features independent movies of all different shapes and sizes.

“We could have a film that uses the Dark Knight soundtrack, or we could have an hour-and-a-half entry with amazing cinematography and original music,” says the student group’s president, Garick Giroir. “Expect anything.”

This year, the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary. The two-day showcase kicks off March 28 and features both films from area students and out-of-state entries from the likes of Nebraska and North Carolina. In addition to various forms of cinema, the festival will feature guest speakers and complimentary breakfast for those in attendance. All events are free of charge. myspace.com/outhousefilmfest
