The Baton Rouge Blues Foundation hosts another annual awards ceremony that honors blues culture in the city. Dr. John of New Orleans will be recognized as a Blues Legend; Alvin Batiste posthumously will be honored with the Ambassador Awards; and John Lisi receives the Pioneer Award.
