Sign children up for Mardi Gras camp

Are the kids off from school for Mardi Gras? Don’t just let them play Wii all day. Send them to the Arts Council’s Mardi Gras Arts Blast, a two-day camp Feb. 23-24 that teaches sketching, painting, pottery, music film, drama and more to young artists ages six to 12. Class is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ($80), and working parents have an extended-day option until 5:30 p.m. ($100).
