Pitchfork-approved Deerhunter performs at Moon

In a year’s time, Deerhunter has gone from playing small clubs to playing arenas with Nine Inch Nails. Their latest disc, Microcastle, garnered a 9.2 out of 10 on the indie-blog Pitchfork and is sure to be on year-end lists across the nation. This Thursday night they’ll play Chelsea’s Café with another blog-approved band, Times New Viking. 10 p.m. Tickets start at $12 and are available at ticketweb.com. 18 and up.
