Fine Art Fine Wine at LASM

Celebrate the work of Jewish painter Ida Kohlmeyer of New Orleans, whose work can be seen in the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, with wine Thursday at the LASM. Join the artist’s daughter, Jane Lowentritt, and David Houston, curator of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, for a tour of Ida Kohlmeyer: Standing Among Giants. 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. $5 for LASM members; $10 for the public.
